Product Description
The ADSS cable is designed using a loose tube stranded configuration. Each optical fiber, with a 250μm diameter, is placed within a tube made of high-modulus plastic, filled with a water-resistant compound for protection. These tubes and fillers are then arranged around a central FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) strength member, forming a compact and circular cable core. Next, a thin PE (polyethylene) inner sheath is added, followed by a layer of aramid yarns, which serve as the strength member. Finally, the entire assembly is encased in an outer sheath made of either PE or AT (anti-tracking) material.
